TrustDigest AI Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of the TrustDigest AI mobile app, API-backed services, AI summaries and verifications, ads, and TrustDigest AI Pro subscriptions.

1. Acceptance

By using TrustDigest AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or services. You are responsible for complying with laws and third-party terms that apply to your use of news sources, subscription stores, identity providers, and advertising services.

2. What TrustDigest AI Provides

TrustDigest AI helps you collect RSS-based news, summarize articles, and run AI-assisted claim verification and perspective analysis. The app may use third-party services, including Google sign-in, Google AI services, Google Mobile Ads, RevenueCat, and app store billing providers.

3. Accounts and Sign-In

Some features require sign-in with a supported identity provider such as Google or Apple. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your sign-in provider secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your signed-in account.

4. RSS Feeds and Third-Party Content

You are responsible for the RSS feeds, article URLs, and other content you choose to use with the app. You should only add feeds and access content that you have the right to access. TrustDigest AI does not own or control third-party news sites, RSS feeds, or articles, and those sources may have their own terms, access rules, robots policies, copyrights, and usage limits.

5. AI Outputs Are Informational

AI summaries, verifications, bias analysis, source lists, and related outputs are provided for informational and productivity purposes only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading. You should verify important information against original sources and independent references. TrustDigest AI is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, journalistic, or safety advice.

6. Free Quotas, Ads, and Premium Access

The app may offer limited free usage, rewarded ads, native ads, or other access limits. Limits may change over time to protect service capacity and prevent abuse. TrustDigest AI Pro may provide expanded or unlimited access to certain app features, subject to fair use, availability of third-party services, and these Terms.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

TrustDigest AI Pro subscriptions are processed by the applicable app store and managed through RevenueCat. Pricing, trial availability, taxes, renewal timing, cancellation rules, refunds, and payment methods are governed by the app store account and billing terms shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the app store before renewal. Deleting the app or deleting your TrustDigest account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Premium access is tied to the subscription entitlement reported by the app store and RevenueCat. If subscription status cannot be verified due to network, store, or provider issues, premium features may be temporarily unavailable. Refund requests must be handled through the app store unless the store directs otherwise.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app to violate laws, copyrights, privacy rights, or third-party terms.
Attempt to bypass quotas, subscription checks, authentication, or security controls.
Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app, API, or third-party services.
Submit malicious URLs, feeds, code, prompts, or content intended to compromise systems.
Use outputs as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions without independent review.

9. Privacy and Data

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion and data deletion options are available at /account-deletion and /data-deletion. Active subscription records may need to remain until the current paid period ends so billing and premium access remain consistent.

10. Changes and Availability

We may update, suspend, remove, rate-limit, or change app features, quotas, subscriptions, supported platforms, AI providers, or these Terms. We aim to keep the service useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every third-party source, AI service, payment provider, or ad provider will always work.

11. Disclaimers

TrustDigest AI is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, and error-free operation. Third-party services and content are controlled by their respective providers.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustDigest AI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or decisions made in reliance on AI outputs or third-party content.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for the app or other users, or if required by law or third-party provider rules. You may stop using the app at any time. Store subscriptions must be cancelled through the relevant app store.
